
Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida said North Korea's latest missile launches are not only a clear violation of UN Security Council resolutions and a threat to peace and stability.
A missile test fired by North Korea on Monday was an intercontinental ballistic class with a potential range covering all of the United States, Japan said.
Shingo Miyake, parliamentary vice-minister of defencesaid the projectile appeared to have flown about 1,000 kilometres with a maximum altitude of more than 6,000 kilometers before landing outside Japan's exclusive economic zone.But Kishida unequivocally condemned the launch, as well as the test-firing of a shorter-range missile on Sunday night.
