China's Xi meets Belarusian counterpart Lukashenko in Beijing

Chinese President Xi Jinping on Monday hosted visiting Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko, who arrived in Beijing.

Lukashenko is on a two-day official trip to China. Xi said Belarus is a reliable partner for China.It is Lukashenko's second trip to China this year.

Earlier, he visited China between Feb. 28 and March 2.The statement by the Belarusian presidency cited Lukashenko as saying that his previous visit to China set the dynamics for the whole year, indicating that more than 120 mutual visits have been organized by the two countries.
