Japan send aircraft to back up evacuation from Israel

On Friday, Japan's Prime Minister Kishida Fumio said his country is sending Self-Defense Force (SDF) aircraft to back up evacuations of Japanese citizens from Israel.
Japanese officials said that they are arranging a chartered flight to transports nationals from the Israeli city of Tel Aviv to nearby Dubai on Saturday. Japanese government had decided to separately send SDF aircraft to the northeastern African country of Djibouti. He added the aircraft will be on standby there to provide support for the evacuations.
SDF aircraft will depart as soon as the defense ministry completes arrangement. He emphasized Japan will work closely with other relevant countries and continue to do the utmost for the evacuation and the safety of Japanese citizens still in the region.
