Families mark one year anniversary of Thai nursery massacre

Families of the victims of the Thai nursery massacre pray for their loved ones at the site where an ex-police officer slaughtered 36 people one year ago in the northeast of Thailand.

During the children's nap time on October 6 2022, Panya Khamrab forced his way into the nursery. With a knife and a gun, he slaughtered 12 adults and 24 children, all but one aged five or under, before killing himself, to end one of the deadliest massacres in the kingdom's history.
