India: hundreds join human chain calling to save heavily polluted Yamuna

Hundreds of environmental activists form a human chain along the Yamuna River in India, to raise awareness about pollution ahead of World Environment Day. Parts of the Yamuna, which courses through the centre of India's capital New Delhi and is already one of the most polluted waterways in the country, is annually coated in mounds of white foam resembling snowfall.
