Australian PM Albanese meets Vietnamese President in Hanoi

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese met Vietnamese President Vo Van Thuong during his two-day visit to the Southeast Asian country.

Albanese has earlier met Vietnamese counterpart Pham Minh Chinh and announced a financial package in support of Vietnam's energy transformation. Australia will host a summit for ASEAN leaders in March 2024.
