UEC Announcements: 3 Annoucements for Political Parties

The Union Election Commission [UEC] made announcements on the 31st of January 2023. The 1st announcement is related to release of By-laws for Registration of Political Parties.

The announcement [2/2023] states that the State Administration Council issued the law No. (15/2023) on the 26th of January 2023 regarding the Political Parties Registration Law. The Union Election Commission released the By-laws for Registration of Political Parties. Those who want to establish a political party in accordance with the Law and By-laws can apply in person at the Union Election Commission Office No. (22) in Nay Pyi Taw during office hours from the date of this announcement.

The Union Election Commission’s announcement [3/2023] states that if the parties valid in the Article 25 of the Political Parties Registration Law want to continue as political parties, they in accordance with the Law and By-laws can apply in person at the Union Election Commission Office No. (22) in Nay Pyi Taw during office hours from the date of this announcement.
