Sports Facility: Upgrading of Sports Ground in Lahe

Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan visited Lahe of Naga Self-administrative Zone in Sagaing Region on Sunday, and inspected Shwe Pyi Tha Sports Grounds where the Naga New Year Festival was celebrated.

He pledged to upgrade the sports grounds as a multi-purpose facility including the Synthetic Runway as guided by the Head of State.

He added that the area of football ground will have to expand to meet the set standard, and called for collaborative efforts of all concerned persons and local administrative body for the work process. The Union Minister also instructed for greening work of football ground, proper flow of water and long term maintenance works.
