A team of experts from the French manufacturer of the plane that crashed killing 72 passengers and crew members visited the site on Wednesday.

The ATR plane operated by Yeti Airlines crashed into a gorge on Sunday. The Nepalese authorities completed the autopsy of 22 bodies that have been identified, and passed the bodies to the families for cremation.

But, grieving relatives of the remaining victims were growing impatient as they waited for authorities to complete autopsies and release the bodies for cremation. The police added that 48 bodies, including those of 15 foreigners, have been sent to Kathmandu, the Nepalese capital. The Cologne-based European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) also said it was taking part in the investigation alongside the French air accident investigations agency.
