Passing-out Parade: No.20 and No.7 Intakes of Nursing and Paramedics

Passing-out Parade of the No.20 Intake of Defence Services University of Nursing and Paramedical Sciences and No.7 Intake of Female Nursing and Paramedical Sciences took place at the Parade Ground of the university in Yangon on Thursday.

On behalf of Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Maha Tharay Sithu Min Aung Hlaing, Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice Senior General Tharay Sithu Soe Win attended the parade, and took the salute of the trainee companies.

After inspecting the Guard of Honour and trainee companies, they marched past and saluted the Vice Senior General. It was followed by presenting of prizes to the outstanding trainees who won the best trainee, excellent in training and excellent in studies.

In his speech, the Vice Senior General said the nurses, pharmacists and paramedics are playing the essencial role in the military medical corps. The trainees have been sending to the international training to turn out as the qualified nurses and paramecists.

He urged all to make continuous learning for becoming expert in their respective fields. The Vice Senior General later received the salute of the trainee companies and left the parade ground. The Vice Senior General later met with the outstanding trainees and spoke words of honour.

At night, the Vice Senior General attended the dinner reception in honour of the No.20 Intake of Defence Services University of Nursing and Paramedical Sciences and No.7 Intake of Female Nursing and Paramedical Sciences, and enjoyed the dinner together with the trainees. They also enjoyed the performance of the military orchestra of the Defence Services University of Nursing and Paramedical Sciences, and Myawady Music troupe.
