Appointment of officers: Certificates of commissioned officers presented

The appointment of commissioned officers to graduates from the 9th Intake of Graduate Female Cadet Course of the Defence Services (Army) Officers Training School (Hmawby) took place at Myawady Hall of the school in the morning on December 27 with the attendance of Military Appointment-General Lt-Gen Lin Aung from the of Commander In Chief (Army), senior military officials and the Commandant of the Defence Services (Army) Officers Training School (Hmawby) and the graduate female cadets.

At the ceremony, Military Appointment-General Lt-Gen Lin Aung presented certificates of the appointment of commissioned officers to graduate female cadets and then delivered a speech. Graduate female cadets were appointed at the rank of Second Lieutenant at the ceremony.

The training school (Hmawby) has been conducting the training for graduate female cadets since 2014 for turning out the qualified staff officers for the Tatmadaw. So far, the school has conducted the 9th intake of the female cadet courses. The graduate female officers will be assigned to the respective corps of the Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air).
