Rice and broken rice exports: Myanmar exported over 808,000 tons of rice

Myanmar exported over 808,000 tons of rice and over 510,000 tons of broken rice to the foreign countries from 1st April to 30th November, 2022. Myanmar has exported rice to 46 countries and mostly exported to China, Bangladesh, Spain and Belgium. 

Min Min, Director, Ministry of Commerce said "Myanmar could export 60.530 million USD worth of rice and 21.803 million USD of broken rice in November this year. Myanmar mainly exported rice to 46 countries and mostly exported to China, Philippines, Bangladesh, Italy, Spain and Belgium. The broken rice has been exported to 21 countries and China, Belgium, Poland, Spain and Thailand are the most exporters of Myanmar. More than 808,000 tons of rice have been exported by 99 private companies and over 510,000 tons of broken rice by 59 companies from private sector. "

According to Ministry of Commerce, Myanmar earned 302.938 million of dollars from rice export and 170.880 million of dollars from the export of broken rice from April to November this year.
