Graduation Parade: SG addresses at DSMA 23rd Intake

The Graduation Parade of the 23rd Intake of Defence Services Medical Academy (DSMA) took place at the parade ground of DSMA in Yangon on Wednesday.

Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Maha Thray Sithu Min Aung Hlaing attended the ceremony and took the salute of cadet companies. After inspecting the graduate cadet company, the cadetcompanies marched past and saluted the Senior General. It was followed by the presentation of awards for the Best Cadet, Excellent in Training and Excellent in Studies.

The Senior General later made a graduation speech to the graduate cadets of the 23rd Intake of Defence Services Medical Academy. In his speech, the Senior General said today is the auspicious day as it has been turned out the military medical officers who are going to hand on carrying out the duties of giving medical services,medical education and treatments at their assigned places.

He urged all to make constant persuing to be professional in the medical field while carrying out the noble duties of the Medical Corps. He added that efforts are being made for the Tatmadaw to be modern, efficient and capable force, and the military officers are needed to take care for health and physical fitness of the Tatmadawmen.

The Senior General later took the salute of the cadet companies and left the parade ground. After that, the Senior General met with the outstanding cadets and gave words of honour.
