Ground data collection: Training for collecting population and household lists

The Rakhine State Working Group on ground data collection survey supervisory committee opened the state level Training of Trainers course at the U Ottama hall in Sittway on Tuesday.

Rakhine State Chief Minister Dr. AungKyaw Min, the Chief Justice of the State Court, the State Ministers, departmental officials and trainees attended the ceremony. At the event, the State Chief Minister said that only when the population census on the ground is correct will the procedures be carried out smoothly and without errors. The household list forms (66/6) that the people from townships in Rakhine State are holding have been made data entry into the high technology e-ID Software.

The data collection groups will conduct field survey through door-to-door service from the 9th to the end of January in 2023. He called for the trainees to try hard in learning lessons that are important for collecting the correct ground population and household census in Rakhine State. The State Social Affairs Minister then explained about opening of the training course and the State Chief Minister and officials then cordially greeted the trainees. 109 trainees from 7 districts and 17 townships in Rakhine State and Paletwa Township in Chin State are attending the course.
