Opening language training: Russian Language Training Course (Batch-2) opened

The Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism Dr. Htay Aung attended the opening ceremony of Russian Language Training Course (Batch-2) held at Novotal Yangon Max Hotel in the afternoon on Monday and gave an opening remark.

Next, the Union Minister, Yangon Region Government minister for ethnic affairs, chairman of Myanmar Tourism Federation, the officials from the embassy of Russian Federation presented the health and safety protocol to the recipient hotels.

The Union Minister Dr. Htay Aung attended the 7 UNWTO World Forum on Gastronomy Tourism held in Nara of Japan co-organized by UNWTO and Basque Culinary Center (BCC) through online in the morning on 13th December. At the opening ceremony, the governor of Nara province of Japan Mr. Shogo Arai, director general of Nara Tourism Bureau Ms. Hirata Chieko on behalf of the Her Imperial Highness Princess Tomohito of Mikasa, FAO director Dr. QU Dongyu, General Manager of Basque Culinary Center (BCC) Mr. Joxe Mari Aizega, Secretary General of UNWTO Mr. Zurab Pololikashvili and the State Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan Mr. Hiroo Ishii gave the key note speech.

Afterward, the Union Minister visited National Management Degree College in Yangon and met with the teachers and students who are studying the tourism and hospitability major. Then, the National Management Degree College principal Dr. Nilar Myint Htoo clarified the status of giving diploma and graduate courses and the arrangements to be given courses and the union minister coordinated necessaries.
