Coordination meeting: Meeting on public health and medical services held

The Union Minister for Health Professor Dr. Thet Khaing Win held a coordination meeting on public health and medical services with the Union Territory Nay Pyi Taw, Regions and States on December 13.

At the meeting, the union minister said that the challenges and requirements on the public health and medical service in the Union Territory Nay Pyi Taw, Regions and States are to be discussed and coordinated.

The public healthcare works together with the COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment have shown improvement. Union Minister added the status of vaccination, maternal and child healthcare, the mattters on the staffs, the arrangements for the equal opportunity on the grants and allowances, improvement for the medical service, management on the acceptance of emergency patients and emergency operation and the fulfilling the necessary medication etc.

Next, the deputy minister Dr. Aye Tun gave a remark on the matters on the staffs not to delay, extension of COVID-19 vaccination coverage in the regions and states and to address the quality in the construction works and the adopt the correct financial procedures.

Then, the head officers of public health and medical services from the Union Territory Nay Pyi Taw, Regions and States reported the work implementations and the union minister, deputy minister and director general supplemented necessaries, it’s learnt.
