Maternal and Child Welfare: Annual meeting of MMCWA held in Nay Pyi Taw

The annual meeting of Myanmar Maternal and Child Welfare Association was held in Nay Pyi Taw on Monday.

Honorary Patron of the Association wife of the Chairman of the State Administration Council and Prime Minister, Daw Kyu Kyu Hla attended the opening ceremony, together with the Honorary Patron Daw Khin Thet Htay, the Union Minister, the Deputy Minister and officials.

Union Minister for Health Dr Thet Khaing Win gave a speech, stressing the needs to meet the sustainable development goal by successfully implementing the work plans of the ministry and association through cooperation and coordination.

He pledged to provide assistance and urged all to make their utmost efforts for the success of the association and providing better health care services for the people.

The Honorary Patrons Daw Kyu Kyu Hla and Daw Khin Thet Htay later viewed round the documentary photos displayed there.

The 32nd Annual Meeting of the Association then followed with the opening speech by the Chairperson Dr San San Myint Aung.

The Secretary of the association and officials later reported on the work undertakings of the association during 2022 and budget reports. The meeting concluded after adopting the future plans.
