Inspection tour: Kachin State CM inspected development works

The Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htain Nan and officials conducted field inspection tour to Myitkyina and Wai Maw Townships in the afternoon on 11th December for the boosting of Kachin State’s economy with the State economic promotion fund and accelerating the productions of each industry.

First, the Chief Minister together with the state ministers and departmental officials inspected the thriving of seasonal vegetable plantations with the assistances of techniques and inputs from the department of agriculture on the fields near Nant Myit Kha Creek in Wai Maw Township.

Next, the Chief Minister and party inspected the oil crop Sun Flower plantation in ArLuu Berry Village, Manaw Myanmar Weaving Workshop owned by U Than Win in Mai Nar Village-tract and visited Shwe Moe Taung Pagoda for the cleaning on the pagoda platform and precinct and the implementation of all-round renovation works.

Then, the Phyo Wei Wei paper and stationery factory in the industrial zone of Man Khein Ward, Myitkyina Township was inspected.

Afterward, the chief minister attended the award presenting ceremony of cold season tennis competition held in Thita Ward with 6 teams since from December 9. During the ceremony, the chief minister awarded the individual medals, cash of honor and victory shield to the first place winner team and the provided half of million Kyats to the subcommittee.

Then, the chief minister and party inspected the status of graval grinded for paving the entrance road to the district sport ground in Thita Ward, completion of largest swimming pool with 10 swimming lanes and the gave necessary instructions for the clean and neat of the sports ground and stadium, it’s reported.
