Livestock breeding sector: Meeting on expansion of MSME livestock breeding held

The coordination meeting on the expansion of MSME livestock breeding farms which are including in the implementation of boosting country’s economy carrying out under the guidance of the State Administration Council was held at the meeting hall of the Ayeyarwady Region Government in the morning on December 10th with the attendance of region Chief Minister U Tin Maung Win, deputy minister for agriculture, livestock and irrigation Dr. Aung Gyi, region government ministers, departmental officials and the livestock breeding entrepreneurs and farmers.

At the meeting, the Chief Minister and deputy minister explained the initial investment for the livestock breeding sector from the State Economic Promotion Fund, the status of providing involving fund, for the benefits of the livestock breeders, meat production and the uplifting of product quality and coordinated necessaries in responding to the reports of the livestock breeding entrepreneurs and farmers.

Next, the deputy minister met with the region and district level officials concerned with the agricultural sector at the meeting hall of the Ayeyarwady Region Irrigation and Water Utilization Management Department and discussed more benefits of individual farmers, regional development, production volume of raw materials and promotion of quality, development of value-added production based on the agriculture and livestock sector, utilization of land effectively in the productive way and the harmonious cooperation among the department, farmers and private sector.

In the evening , the deputy minister viewed the status of fish hatcheries of GLOBAL EARTH Agro & Aqua Industry Public Company Limited, completion of the factory for producing fish food, striped catfish culture in the pond and the status of constructing cold storage and gave necessaries, it’s reported.
