Producing Skilled Workers: CMP garment factories in Bago Region inspected

Deputy Minister for Labour U Win Shein together with officials visited Myan Star and Suit Star Garment Factories that are CMP garment factories in Bago Region Industrial Zone on Friday and looks into work site stability, boosting productivity, producing skilled workers and implementation for better relations between employers and employees.

At the factory meeting hall, the Deputy Minister said that the CMP enterprises can create mostly job opportunities and they can benefit in the short and long term for the state. The CMPs are being opened in the Union Terrority, regions and states and the relevant departments are supervising to be able to operated them with the new normal.

The Deputy Minister then explained about presenting the national level employment recognition certificates to the skilled labours in accordance with the skill level by the NSSA and prioritizing on the employment of garment workers and called for tripartite cooperation between the government, employers and employees.

He also stressed the needs on reducing labour dispute, establishing harmonious labour relations, collaboration between Labour Affairs Working Coordination Committee and Labour Organizations, worksite safety and efforts fro boosting productivity.
