Xi meets leaders of Egypt, Sudan, Kuwait and PA

Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday met with the leaders of Egypt, Palestine, Sudan and Kuwait while paying a visit to Saudi Arabia.

Xi arrived in Riyadh Wednesday afternoon to attend the first China-Arab States Summit and the China-Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) summit. The trip to Saudi Arabia marks a further move by Xi to restore his global profile after spending most of the pandemic inside China. The visit is his third overseas trip since early 2020.
