Tasks meeting set standard: Meeting on Construction Task Scrutinizing Committee

A work coordination meeting 1/2022 of construction task scrutinizing committee (Budget) was held at the Ministry of Construction in Nay Pyi aw on 7th Wednesday.

At the event, Chairman of Construction Task Scrutinizing Committee (Budget) and Building Scrutinizing Committee, Union Minister for Construction U Myo Thant said that the meeting is aimed for completion of construction tasks meeting set standard in line with financial procedures, rules and regulations and directives. 

In planning construction tasks for 2023-2024 financial year, it includes strategic projects and proposed projects in the project bank in addition to implementation of the projects and works. As all projects are implemented by engaging with Myanmar Sustainable Development Plan, they are described with the new projects and on-going projects.

The projects are implemented within the budget expenditure framework shared by the Ministries. Deputy Minister for Construction U Win Pe explained about work programs, rules, regulations and policies to be undertaken by the Committee. Officials from Union Level Organizations and relevant ministries gave suggestions in the respective sectors.

The Union Minister then stressed the needs on construction tasks meeting set standard and following financial rules and regulations not to lose the state finance.
