Efforts for Rural Development :30 mln kyats provided for emerald green project

The training on producing household goods with banana plant products conducted by the Department of Rural Development was opened in YwaThit village in Bago Region on Tuesday with an attendance of Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win.

At the event, the Head of Bago Region Rural Development Department explained about opening of the training course. 

The Region Chief Minister provided teaching aids necessary for the course and 30 million kyats for emerald green project.

The Chief Minister then looked into teaching practical training for household goods, production of household goods and basic sewing course.

Afterwards, the Chief Minister and party inspected thriving green grams in Kin Chaung village-tract in Bago Township and dredging of silts at the ZaungTu water channel and ZaungTu main channel for summer paddy cultivation and explained about the programs to be provided necessary inputs.
