Measures for Fishery Industry: Meeting with export product cooperative societies

Deputy Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Myint Soe together with officials visited in-shore fishery zone in Kawthaung on Wednesday.

At Kawthaung District Fisheries Federation, the deputy minister met export/import cooperative societies, officials of in-shore fishery zone, and the District Fisheries Federation.

In respone to the reports of officials, the Deputy Minister said that the financial difficulties caused by the monetary policy established by the Central Bank will be submitted with the relevant ministries.

He also discussed the difficulties of import industry and plan to contact with the regional government to get necessary financial assistance for fishery cooperative societies. Later, the Deputy Minister and officials viewed around fish wholesale centers, salt water fish (Export Product) Inspection Bridge and measures to be undertaken.
