Function tasks: Dy Minister visits Myanmar MercantileMarine College

Deputy Minister for Transport and Communications U Aung Kyaw Tun visited Myanmar Mercantile Marine College on Tuesday. 

At the meeting hall, the Principal reported on training and teaching affairs in line with international norms, current work implementations and future work plans. In response to the report, the Deputy Minister called for timely completion of the tasks, implementing the tasks in line with tender and financial procedures and prevention of COVID-19 in line with SOPs set by the Ministry of Health and provided foodstuff for the staffs.

The Deputy Minister then looked intp teaching rooms, lab and simulator rooms, library, reference room, male hostel and mess hall and placing sport gears and stressed the needs on neat and tidy.

On arrival at the Myanma Shipyards, the Deputy Minister heard reports on construction of vessels and repairing works and gave necessary instructions. The Deputy Minister looked into completion of repairing water sluice gate of dry dockyard and related tasks, vessel repairing workshop and the condition of current sluice gates and gave necessary instructions.
