Illegal Trade: Illegal goods and vehicle seized

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the 3rd of December, illegal home electronic accessories, industrial materials, textile, beer and vehicle worth over 265 million Kyats were seized at the Myanmar Industrial Port Container checkpoint and at the Kawkareik (Tadakyoe) checkpoint as well as on the Mandalay-PyinOoLwin road and at the Kyweye combined checkpoint of Monywa. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
