Drugs Seized: Drugs worth over 2 billion Kyats seized in Bago Region

A Combined force included the members of Anti-Narcotic Drugs Task Force inspected a TOYOTA TOYOACE six-wheeler driven by Saw L. Tu Lo accompanied by Saw L. Do Htoo from PhayaGyi to Mawlamyaing near NyaungKhaShay Village on PhayaGyi-Waw Road in Waw Township of Bago Region at 8:30 PM on 21st November.

The members of combined force seized 1.34 million of stimulant tablets worth over 2 billion Kyats, 2 kilos of ICE and one motor cycle on the vehicle. According to the investigation, it’s revealed that the drugs were carried from Shan State to Mon State. The suspects were taken action under the law and the investigation is underway to reveal the chain of offenders, it’s learnt.
