Myanmar / China: Union Minister for Int’l Cooperation receives Ambassador

Union Minister for International Cooperation U Ko Ko Hlaing received Ambassador of China to Myanmar Mr. Chen Hai on Friday afternoon at the Ministry of International Cooperation in Nay Pyi Taw.

During the meeting, they cordially exchanged views on matters pertaining to the further consolidation of the existing PaukPhaw relations, accelerating the implementation of Myanmar-China bilateral projects on the basis of mutual benefit, strengthening of cooperation in the fights against the Covid-19 pandemic, providing the constructive support towards the Myanmar’s Peace Process, maintenance of peace and stability along the border area between Myanmar and China.

They also cordially exchanged views on regional and international matters of mutual interest as well as for closer collaboration between the two countries in regional and multilateral contexts particularly ASEAN and the United Nations.
