Restricted Chemical & Drug Seizure: Ammonium Nitrate and opium powder seized

Restricted chemical and illegal drug were seized in Kachin and Shan states. In Mohnyin Township area of Kachin State, 2,000 kilograms of restricted chemical ‘Ammonium Nitrate’ were seized.

In Namhsan Township area of Shan State, 60 kilograms of opium powder were seized. The seizures led to arrests of 3 men. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken against the suspects under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
