








The Union Minister for Health Professor Dr. Thet Khaing Win gave a remark at the celebration commemorating 2022 National Health Day held at the ministry, Nay Pyi Taw in the afternoon on Monday.
In his remark, the union minister said that the National Health Day was designated 14th November on which the Ministry of Health was officially named in the Myanmar Gazetteer. The ministry has been rendering healthcare services for the public since the 4th of January, 1948 which is the Independence Day.
Currently, the ministry is implementing to enhance the health, fitness and education quality of the entire nation which is one of 3 social objectives of the state. In the two national tasks of peace and prosperity and the food security, the quality healthcare service is one of the vital sectors etc.
Next, the documentary video commemorating the National Health Day was screened and the Union Minister, deputy minister, director generals handed the certificates and cash of honor to the winners of medical medals, YeBaLa medal, outstanding management medal and students who passed the 2021-2022 matriculation examination outstandingly.
Afterward, the union minister, deputy minister and guests viewed the exhibition booths displayed marking the National Health Day and enjoyed the tea and snacks together with the attendees, it’s learnt.
