Supervisory committee meeting: MoRAC Union Minister supplicated religious matters

The 8th meeting of central supervisory committee for abbot training school was held at the convocation hall of state pariyatti sasana university (Yangon) in the morning on 14th November.

Present at the meeting were the members of State Sangha Mahanayaka Committee, the principal Sayadaws of abbot training schools from regions and states and the Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Ko Ko and departmental officials also attended the meeting.

First, Chairman Sayadaw of central supervisory committee for abbot training school gave an opening speech including the four basic principles for the abbot training school set by the first multi sects Sangha meeting. Next, the Union Minister U Ko Ko supplicated the religious affairs.

Then, the director general of the Department for Promotion and Propagation of the Sanana clarified the status of complementing the implementations regarding the decisions made by 7th central committee meeting and the future work plans concerning with the abbot training school.

Next, the principal Sayadaws of abbot training schools from regions and states discussed the related sector, the responsible persons reciprocated and one approval and five decisions were made regarding with the four discussions.

Then, the Vice Chairman Sayadaw of State Sangha Mahanayaka Committee gave the speech of conclusion, the union minister offered the offertories to the Sayadawgyis and concluded the meeting, it’s learnt.
