Drugs Seizures: Thousands of stimulant tablets seized

Illegal drugs were seized in Mon State and Shan State. In Mawlamyaing Township, Ywangan Township area and Pinlaung Township area of the states, over 78,000 stimulant tablets and 4,300 liters of sulfuric acid were seized.

12 men and 3 men were arrested along with the seizure. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken against the suspects under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
