International Cooperation: Meeting with the Executive Board of MISIS

Union Minister for International Cooperation U Ko Ko Hlaing delivered the opening remarks at the Meeting with the Executive Board of the Myanmar Institute of Strategic and International Studies (MISIS) on Friday.

In his speech, the Union Minister shed light on the Ministry's cooperation with the countries in the region, the members of ASEAN and the United Nations, and the process of implementation on the humanitarian assistance management. The Union Minister also updated the current affairs in the region and the world, as a whole.

Furthermore, the Union Minister urged MISIS on expanding research activities in the future in order to contribute for the national interests with suggestions and recommendations from the academic point of views. The Chair and members of the Executive Board of the Myanmar Institute of Strategic and International Studies also briefed on their undertaking tasks, operational activities and developments of the MISIS.
