Public Rental Housing Project: Low- cost housings under construction in 3 cities

The low-cost Public Rental Housing Project with 10,000 rooms is being implemented in Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon and Mandalay. The 1st phase the Project is underway - 448 rooms in Nay Pyi Taw, 3,104 in Yangon and 1,456 apartments in Mandalay are under construction.

The Project is set to be completed during the 2022-2023 fiscal year. Regarding the low-cost Public Rental Housing projects for low income people, in Yangon, Kyan Sitt Min, Shwe La Min, Yu Zana, Kanaung, Aung Myint Moh and Thilawa housings were constructed and sold. It’s to create clean and pleasant places and to get better lifestyles with flexible environment.
