Preparations Underway: Plans for 75th Independence Day celebration

Shan State Government on Friday held the 4th coordination meeting to include their decorated vehicle in the 75th anniversary of Independence Day celebration and commemorative booths in the Tabaung Festival Ground south of the Uppātasanti Pagoda in Nay Pyi Taw.

During the meeting at the regional government office in Taunggyi Township, regarding the booths representing Shan State, Chief Minister Dr. Kyaw Tun called for efforts to make them elegant, complete and colorful, and include unique ethnic cultural heritage, customs, and traditional foods. For the decorated vehicle, he called on leaders and members of the sub-committee to try their best. This meeting continued with preparations and general discussions, and the Chief Minister made remarks.
