




A coordinating meeting for opening Universities and Degree Colleges of the Ministry of Education was held in Nay Pyi Taw on Tuesday. At the meeting, the Union Minister for Education DrNyuntPe said that the university 2nd Year and above classes will be opened on 10th November 2022 and the enrollment will be accepted up to 18th November including the weekend days.
The first year class will be opened on the 21st November 2022 and the university examinations will be held on 9th March 2023 and the teaching will be conducted in full time.
The Union Minister called for preparation for teaching matters, beautifying of university environs, teaching halls and class rooms and security affairs. He also stressed the needs on supervising daily regular classes, making research relating to the subject for the regional development to support for MSME development and cooperation for development of universities.
Later, Deputy Minister DrZawMyint discussed plans for conducting university characteristic and beautifying, taking suggestion from scholars for the education promotion and refresher courses for teachers.
Rectors, Principals, Pro-rectors, professors, Heads of Department, Deputy Heads, registrars and officials from 75 universities and degree colleges of the Ministry of Education attended the meeting through video conferencing.
