Preparatory meeting: Myanmar will host the 10th ASEAN Quiz (Regional Level)

Myanmar organized a preparatory meeting for holding the 10th ASEAN Quiz-Regional Level through video conferencing on Tuesday.

The meeting was led by Chairman of SCI-Myanmar Director General of Myanma Radio and Television U Ye Naing and officials from ASEAN member states, ASEAN Secretariat and the project In-charge from AMS, altogether 34 attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the Chair of SCI-Myanmar Director-General of MRTV extended greetings.

Officials explained about preparatory plans for holding the 10th ASEAN Quiz Regional Level, rules and regulations for the contest, technical preparations for the ASEAN Quiz Questionnaire forms, preparations at the MICC-II in Nay Pyi Taw to be held the event and the program agendas and representatives from ASEAN member states attending the meeting exchanged their views.

For holding the regional level competition, the 10th ASEAN Quiz - National Level was held at the Studio-A of MRTV in Yangon on 1st June 2022.

According to the scores of the contestants and the decision of the Board of Jurors, 5 contestants were selected preliminarily for the 10th ASEAN Quiz (Regional Level).

Out of 5, 3 contestants have been conducted training online starting July this year and the exam tests were made in the 1st week of November and the contestants will be selected according to the decision of Board of Jurors.

This year, Myanmar will host the 10th ASEAN Quiz-Regional Level at the MICC-II in Nay Pyi Taw and a total of 30 students, 3 students for a country will compete in the regional level competition.
