Inspection Tour: Union Minister inspects training schools, center

Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Thet Thet Khine made inspections in Yangon.

On October 23, the Union Minister inspected the training school for the youth construction site and heard reports on the construction process and plans.

In her response, the Union Minister gave instructions regarding completion of the construction, number of employees to be appointed and vocational training based on agriculture and livestock for the youth. She also inspected completed construction of dormitory, dining hall He toured and inspected the completion of the furnace room and the concrete road paving.

And, the Union Minister called on concerned officials to improve the lighting, ventilation of the buildings and flow of water. She continued her inspection tour to the drug rehabilitation center (Yangon) in Mayangone Township, heard reports and stressed that being able to reintegrate drug addicts into the society will be able to meet the development of human resources on the one hand.

The Union Minister also inspected the school for blind in Kyimyindaing Township and highlighted that it is necessary to help the visually impaired persons get employment opportunities before touring the school and witnessing the training programmes. On October 24, the Union Minister inspected the training school for the girl in Htaukkyant Township, gave necessary instructions and toured the school.
