




Sales of jade lots commenced on the fifth day of the ongoing 2022 Mid-Year Myanma Gems Emporium in Nay Pyi Taw on Sunday.
Local and foreign merchants observed the jade lots displayed in the Madi Yadana Jade Hall and outside the venue. Jade lots No.1 to No.750 have been put on tender bidding, and a total of 665 jade lots were sold out.
Jade lots No.751 to 1500 will be put on sales on the sixth day of the emporium. In the afternoon, Chairman of the Myanmar Gems Emporium Central Committee Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Khin Maung Yi and committtee memebrs visited the emporium and viewed the sales of jade lots through tender system.
The sales of jade lots will continue on the 24th and 25th October, and foreign merchants can make payment with the USD, Euro, Yuan and Baht while local merchants pay in kyats. During the emporium, 362 out of 400 pearl lots and 55 out of 120 gem lots have already been sold out.
