



Union Minister for Health Professor Dr Thet Khaing Win, together with officials, visied Fame Pharmaceuticals Factory in Hlaingthaya Industrial Zone on 22nd October.
The Managing Director of the factory reported on the operation process and products of the factory.
The Union Minister and party later inspected the storage room for raw materials, quality control room, laboratory and production process of medicines.
The Union Minister gave instructions, saying that the government is encouraging for development of SME businesses, Since the traditional medicines could support for health care services of local people, it is important to develop the traditional medicines sector.
He also stressed the importance of quality raw materials for producing quality products and to supervise for quality control in export process. The Union Minister and party later proceeded to Sakkyar Min Traditional Medicine Factory in Mingaladon Industrial Zone, and heard reports on the production process.
After inspecting round the factory, the Union Minister met with the officials and said the government is encouraging for development of traditional medicines and the cash allowance for the apprentice traditional medicine practitioners have been increased. He stressed the needs to promote quality products based on scientific research both in evidence and document.
The Union Minister and party later visited U Thar Yin Traditional Medicine Factory in KyanSitthar Industrial Zone in South Dagon Township and inspected the production process of the factory.
