Ballooning over Bagan: Hot-Air balloon ride services starts in Bagan

Starting from 9th of this month October to the 10th of April 2023, hot-air ballooning services are going to be provided for local and foreign visitors.

In an effort to feel the aerial view over the spectacular scene of 3,822 Bagan temples and pagodas plus natural beauty of Ayeyarwaddy River, balloon companies have already prepared as the enhancement of tourism sector in peak season.

In the 19 square mile plain of UNESCO World Heritage Site Bagan, there are four companies providing the balloon riding services.

Hot-air balloon rides are famous and super attractive to the foreign tourists as they are provided to experience the unforgettable stunning birds-eye view at the floating destinations, and balloons are usually lifted off from Bagan Amazing Golf Club and Hotel Zone.

Ballooning over Bagan takes 45 minutes to one hour long in the sky depending on wind condition and the service of sending the passengers back to the hotels after landing will also be included.

It is learnt that the affordable prices are also arranged for the local visitors this year. The hot-air ballooning travel service has started by the balloon companies at the full moon day of Thadingyut aiming at local and foreign visitors to enter more into Bagan UNESCO World Heritage Site at the beginning of November, the start of open season this year in Myanmar.
