Exchange views: MoIP Union Minister received Nepalese delegation

Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing received a delegation led by the Nepalese Ambassador to Myanmar Mr. Harishchandra Ghimire at the ministry, Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on 21st October. The deputy minister U Htay Hlaing and official also attended the meeting together with the Union Minister.

At the meeting, they cordially exchanged views on the good relation between Myanmar and Nepal existed since the past, similarities in the religion and culture and the mutual relation and communications, the International Airline operation in Lumbini area in Nepal and the arrangements for operation of Myanmar direct flights, the legal assistance for the convenience of Nepal citizens in Myanmar for their entry visa and extension of residential period, exchange visits of the people between the two countries under friendly relation and mutual cooperation in the immigration issues, it’s learnt.
