Immigration Process: MOIP Union Minister received the Chinese Ambassador

Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing received Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar Mr Chen Hai and party in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday.

They discussed matters on cooperation for development of bilateral economies, implementations for entry visa and residence permits for Chinese citizens who come into the country for various reasons in line with the rules and regulations, China’s assistance for COVID-19 vaccines and related items as well as repatriation process of displaced persons from Bangladesh and assistance to be provided to Myanmar Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Chinese people in Myanmar according to the law.

They also exchanged views on mutual cooperation in immigration process between the two countries including the border areas.
