Production of Value-added products: Meeting with District/Township Administrative Bodies

Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win held a coordination meeting with the Chairmen of District and Township Administrative Bodies at the hall of the Regional Government Office on Wednesday.

At the meeting, the Region Chief Minister said that as the winter season comes in, the quality seeds will be distributed in time by purchasing the quality beans and pulses and the winter sunflower seeds in advance and the high quality strains will be cultivated in the places where the seeds can be planted for thrice a year.

The Chief Minister added that the awareness on extended breeding of conventional chicken species and milch cows will be conducted and the field trips for the technical assistance for production and practical works will be conducted by using the animal feeds from regional raw materials for a month per township.

He stressed the needs on fulfilling the needs of MSME entrepreneurs in line with rules and regulations for producing value-added materials from regional products, impementing for one township one product and cooperation for necessary technology and raw materials. The district and township administrative bodies reported on administration, agriculture, breeding, education, health and regional development on which the Region Chief Minister fulfilled the needs.
