Sports and Youth Affairs: MoSYA Union Minister inspected sports ground in Yangon

The Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan together with the officials inspected the upgrading works of Aung San Sports Ground in MingalarTaungNyunt Township, Yangon Region in the morning on October 18.

The Union Minister inspected the status of decaying building of spectator stands, fences, football ground and volleyball training facility  and the conditions needed renovation the gave necessary instructions to the officials.

Next, the union minister visited Youth Sports and Training Camp of Thuwunna football ground, inspected the football ground and met officials from Myanmar Football Federation and gave a remark.

Then, the union minister arrived at Theinphyu Tennis Court, observed the practicing tennis players who will compete in 32nd SEA Games and cordially greeted the athletes and gave a remark.

At the office of Myanmar Tennis Federation, the union minister met the federation chairman U ZawHtein, vice chairman U Myo Thein Htwe and responsible persons, instructed to make coordinated effort with unity and fulfilled requirements reported by the chairman.

Afterward, the union minister spectated 2022 National Trophy Men and women Basket ball competition at National Stadium (1) Thuwunna and competition between PRY and M.O.H.A teams of U-18, U-25 Men and women Basket ball tournament, it’s learnt.
