Prize awarding ceremony: SAC Vice-Chair Dy PM addressed the ceremony

The Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win, in his capacity as the Patron of the Leading Committee on Organizing the 23rd  Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition, addressed the prize awarding ceremony held at Myanmar International Convention Centre II (MICC-II) in Nay Pyi Taw at 9 am on Tuesday.

Next, the Patron of the Leading Committee on Organizing the 23rd Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win and SAC members awarded prize of honor and medals to the cultural groups and winners from the regions and states.

A total of 1838 male and female contestants from 14 regions and states competed in the 23rd Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition and 504 contestants won the gold, silver and bronze medals.

The Competition at the Myanmar International Convention Center 2, National Library, National Museum and Yadana Hall and Training Theatre under the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture was held from 11th to 18th of October, it’s learnt.
