Inspection of new hospital building: MoH Union Minister inspected OSH (Yangon)

The Union Minister for Health Dr. Thet Khaing Win accompanied by the director general of the department of medical service and officials concerned arrived at the Orthopedic Specialist Hospital (Yangon) in the morning on 16th October, 2022 and was welcomed by the hospital medical superintendant Dr. Ye AungTun, Professor Dr. Aung Thein Htay, Professor/ head of department (orthopedics) and members. 

At the meeting hall, the engineer In-charge from the Ministry of Construction clarified the completion of constructing new five-storey hospital building and four storey staff housing with 8 apartments and the hospital medical superintendant reported the operation of hospital procedures and the union minister instructed necessaries and the director general supplemented requirements.

Then, the union minister and party inspected new five-storey hospital building and instructed to prepare necessary arrangements to be able to open it commemorating 2023 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Independence Day, to put efforts for being a international standard hospital, facilitate for the patients to undergo treatment comfortably, regular maintenance of hospital equipments, focus on the staff wellbeing and make collective effort for being a cleaning and peaceful hospital. 

Then, the union minister and party inspected the spine unit and MRI scan Room and gave necesary instructions, it’s learnt.
