Immigration Issue: Chief Minister presents NRCs, household lists

Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin presented national registration cards (NRCs) and household lists issued under the Pan Khin Project Phase-2.

During the event at the General Administration Department in Chauk Township, the Chief Minister stressed the importance of NRC for election and rights of holders.

He also highlighted the State Administration Council’s 5-point road map and 9 objectives and plan to hold the free and fair election in line with the 2008 Constitution.

After his remarks, the Chief Minister and officials presented the presented national registration cards (NRCs) and household lists for the locals in 20 wards of Chauk Township under the ongoing Pan Khin Project Phase-2.

In Magway Region, over 123,000 national registration cards were issued under the Pan Khin Project Phase-1. There, the Chief Minister also inspected the household list form No. 66/6.
