COVID-19 Update: 310 new cases with 1 death reported on October 13

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 310 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Thursday after testing 10,945 patients within 24 hours. At the time of the report, there’s 1 patient who died due to the disease while 297 patients have recovered. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 627,638 with 19,469 deaths and 601,593 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, France, Brazil, Germany, the Republic of Korea, the United Kingdom, Italy, Japan and Russian Federation, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 5:35pm CEST, 13 October 2022, there have been over 620 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 6.54 million deaths.
