3rd day Competitions: 23rd MTCPAC (Central Level) continues

The 3rd day of the 23rd Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition (Central Level) was held at the designated places in Nay Pyi Taw Council Area on Thursday. “Maha Gita” singing competition was held at the Banquet Hall of Myanmar International Convention Center-2 and contestants from regions and states competed in the respective categories.

The modern song singing contest was held at the singing room of the MICC-2 and the contestants took part in the amateur level (first class) and the Basic Education Level women (aged 15 to 20) contests.  The dancing contest was held at the training theatre of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture and the Plenary Hall of MICC-2.

The contests took part in “YoteSone” theatrical group competition of amateur level (first class), the Ramayana play competition of amateur level (first class), amateur level (first class) men competition, amateur level (second class) women competition and basic education level aged 10 to 15 women competition. 

The melody adjusting practice of the composing competition was held at the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture and the contests competed in the higher education level and amateur level (first class) contests.

Likewise, Myanmar orchestra group and single competitions, the xylophone playing competition and mandolin playing contest were held at the respective venues in Nay Pyi Taw and the contestants from respective regions and states competed in the contests under respective categories.

State-level officials, ministers for Ethnic Affairs and ministers for Social Affairs of regions and states, Advocates-General, officials from relevant departments, artistes and enthusiasts attended the competitions.
